Farmers' Markets
The Fat Carrot can be found at local Farmers’ Markets, vegan fairs and charity/community events. We can offer take home food at Farmers’ Markets or eat in options at fairs and charity events. Please check the Diary.
Fat Carrot uses local farm produce and prepares food in accordance with The Vegetarian Society UK, in totally meat free kitchens. All our sourcing, preparation and packaging aims to make the smallest carbon footprint possible. More on our Policy here.

Cranbrook Farmers' Market
The market runs every fourth Saturday 9.30- 1.00 (3rd Saturday in December) at the historic Grade II listed Vestry Hall, on the corner of The High Street and Stone Street, Cranbrook. The market has been running for many years and the town is a historic market town. The Fat Carrot took over the running of the market in 2016 and has been encouraging meat free and sustainable stalls to be part of the markets offer.
Cranbrook Farmers’ market has an average of 14 stalls. With 4 regular non food stalls plus a rolling program of guest art and craft stallholders.
Fat Carrot Pop Up Cafe
At the heart of the community the aim of the market is to support local stalls and provide a Café area for visitors to stop and chat. The Fat Carrot pop up Café serves tea/ coffee, vegetarian & vegan snacks and always has plenty of cake!
